Here again is presented information regarding Dallas, Texas’s strategy to avoid potential water shortages through 2070. This is raw data from Texas Water Development Board’s texasstatewaterplan.org website showing water projects for Dallas. Notice the projects making up the biggest strategy supplies numbers all involve water conservation of various types. The five images from TWDB cover 2020-2070 and are presented in acre-feet. One acre-foot is equivalent to roughly 325,851 gallons. The total each decade in gallons of water we must gain through strategy implementation is between 6,652 acre-feet and 35,862 acre-feet depending on the decade. In gallons this equals about 2.17 Billion to 11.7 Billion gallons.
